Hamilton Family Christmas Party 2010

December 22, 2010
I don't know how Grandma Hamilton does it every year, but she always has the best Christmas party ever. This year was so much fun! Yes, we have finally grown big enough that we used the church (I might add that we looked big enough to be a ward party). Nine of my parents ten kids and their families were able to make it this year. We missed Lizzy's family, but it was fun to have Julie's with us.
Brian Webb, Ken, Dave and Raghu
Grandma put up a big sheet of paper for each of the four missionaries in our family, and we all wrote a message to them.
The kids were definitely crazy...
Grandma looks stressed...
Aunt Liz and Aunt Cindy provided gingerbread houses for all the grand kids!
Raghu and Jessica are getting married in June. Welcome to our crazy family Raghu :). This was Raghu's very first time celebrating Christmas. I think he really enjoyed it!
This is 37 of the 41 grand kids!
My favorite little baby!
This is Taden's first Christmas
We had a very yummy feast!
Grandma provided all of it... she is the best!
(Meg, Senora, Jada and Kennedy)
(McKenzie, Allyson, Daxton, Weston, Samantha, Emily and Andrew)
All the cousins had such a great time together!
Lots of yummy treats!
See... we do look a ward party :)
Me and my littlest guy :)
Julie and I
(Dawson 4 yrs)
Grandma even got Santa to come...
It just so happened that Santa is also Elora's college professor :)
(Brayden 10 yrs)
(Jada 12 yrs)
Raghu was wearing his elf ears, so we had him go up next to Santa with some jingle bells. He had the time of his life. I don't think ever stopped jingling the bells. After a while, Jessica told him he could stop... but Raghu insisted that he needed to be up by Santa. It was awesome... he definitely was important to creating the perfect Christmas scene for pictures. Thanks Raghu!!
(Daxton 14 yrs)
Dax was so mad at me for making him sit on Santa's lap, espcially since I had just made him sit on it at the mall for a picture also. He said he will never sit on it again... we will just see about that :)
We even got Grandma to sit on Santa's lap :)
Next we had a talent show:
First up is Jada on the piano playing "Silent Night"
Daxton played "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen",
the Trans Siberian Orchestra version
Then Aunt Julie put on the Nativity...
Don't you just love the Donkey made out of the paper bag :)
Mary- Sydney, Joseph- Brayden, Baby Jesus- Taden, Donkey- Landon, Wisemen- Taylor Byington, Raghu, and Weston
Finally the craziest longest White Elephant gift exchange ever....
Daxton chose the gift in the Victoria Secrets bag :/
these were truly white elephant...
Dax got candy from Valentines day :)
Dawson actually scored with a cool playmobile set from Aunt Julies gift closet
We had such a great time! Grandma really went crazy... she made it the best party yet! Thanks for all your hard work Grandma. It was perfect!!!! We have the best family ever :)
