Dad's Buddy...

Dave was out cleaning the garage today, and he had a little buddy join him.  Dawson found some wood and a nail and went to town building???  I asked him what he was building, and he said he didn't know.  He was just having a good time with a hammer :).

I was sitting there looking at Dawson and thinking how cute he was hammering away, and wishing I could always remember times when my kids were so cute.  You know those moments that really arn't important but are cute.  So I thought why not blog about it so I can remember :).

Grandpa and Grandma Starkey just arrived for a visit.  So Dave had two buddies to hangout with him in the garage :).  Good thing he had some company!!

 What a hard worker my hubby is :).  Love you Dave!!

Wheeler Farm...

For the Wednesday getaway this week we went to Wheeler Farm.  We have never been to it, so it was fun to see.  I am glad that Jada and Brayden will come with me even though most of the families have much younger kids.  Jada and Brayden took turns taking pictures with the camera, so we ended up with 160 pictures :/.  So I had to narrow them down.

What a good big sis, she is always taking such good care of Dawson...

I just love that my friend Ann plans these getaways every Wednesday.  They are so fun, and I am getting to see new places.  It is also creating fun memories with my kids.  I am so grateful to have the summer to spend with my family.  Thanks for all the planning Ann!!

They Finally Came....

These boys both ordered the same long board, and they have been waiting and waiting for them to get here.  Well they finally came :).  Yep, thats right... that is carpet on them, and that is a pic in Daxton's hand.  They came with pics to fluff the carpet :).  They have been waiting for 5 days.  Daxton stayed home from fun activities in hopes of their arrival.  One day Dax, Nick and some other friends waited in our front room the whole day.  They moved a tv in the room and watched movies while they waited for the mailman.  They are so funny!!  Poor Dax they finally came on a day he had to work :(.

 Then he had to wait for Nick to get home from Marching Band....
