Spring Break 2013...

April 1, 2013
Spring Break this year only contained a few nice days.  Besides those days it was either freezing or raining :(.  Here are a some pictures of the things we did on the warm days...
Jada Babe and her friend Cassidy decided to do some chalk art...

Jada drew a peacock for me, because I can make the sound of a peacock :)
 Cassidy's Giraffe...
 Jada's Owl and Flamingo...
They are quite the artist :)

 (Daxton and Nick)
On the only other nice day of Spring Break, our friends the Tates called and asked us to go for a hike.  The funny thing is I was already planning to go hiking with our kids.  It worked out perfect!  Thanks to Wende calling, Daxton and Nick both came with us.  If we hadn't gone together neither of them would have come with our families.  Little stinkers!!
(Andrew and Dawson)

(Sierra and Jada)
(Colby and Brayden)

We hiked Battlecreek Falls...
It was a perfect day, not to hot or to cold.  The hike was beautiful!

There were so many amazing views!

I love this view of Utah Lake!!

Dax and Nick took off right when we got there.  Little did Wende and I know that they had decided to scale the side of the mountain :(.   They went so high that we were so freaked out.  We have to remember never to let these boys out of our sight!
See why I said Wende and I were a bit freaked out...
You can barely see them in this picture because they were so high...

These crazy boys are going to give their mom's a heart attack :(
Our hearts are beating normal again now that these boys are off the face of the mountain!!
These boys are so awesome...

My cute baby!!

And they are off to do some more fishing...
Finally they were down safe, and so excited to throw snow balls :)

Such a photographer, he takes amazing pictures...

What a fun hike...
Utah is so beautiful!
After the hike we took the kids to a pond to have a picnic, and let Brayden and Colby fish.  These two boys sure do love fishing :).

They had such a great time!

They would have fished all day if we didn't have to be home by 4:30 to take Dawson to the dentist.  Sorry boys :(.

      What good lookin fishermen...

I sure do love this boy, he really loves to fish!!

I am so glad that the Tates called and invited us to go hiking with them.  It was a great day, and so nice to get out and enjoy the perfect weather before all the rain.

I love the mountains. Your pics are so fun! Hiking is one of the best family activities, I think. I have a boy who likes to climb like that too. Scares me every time! I don't think it is something a mother could EVER be comfortable with. At least not this mother. =)
